I've been posting for a while, and in the fall, everyone new to the team will be introduced to me as a captain. So I think it's time to address a rumor you will probably hear about me. See, if you talk to members of the team, you're bound to hear them say I'm the most injury-prone member of the entire organization; perhaps the campus.
I am hear to set the record straight and say this is... Absolutely true. I am (barely) walking proof that this is indeed a rough sport. But you know what? I'm okay with that. Because in this sport, the biggest annoyance we have to deal with is people thinking it's not a "real" sport, or at the very least not a hard sport. But that simply isn't true. This is not a sport for softies, and not a team for cowards. Injuries happen. If you're me, they happen a lot. But hey, at least walking around like this gets us some street cred...

Don't worry, though. While some injury is to be expected with any sport, mostly I'm just really stupid. So chances are, you're not going to end up like me.
But before you think it's a good idea to join in the mockery of my constant state of disrepair, do remember these words:
You should have seen the other guy.
